Decoder + pre-flight inputs are processed in your browser only. Pasted IRS rejection text and SS-4 field inputs you type into the pre-flight checker are never sent to our servers and never logged. All decoding happens in your browser; nothing about your specific rejection is transmitted.

We collect aggregate, non-identifying code-frequency counts (e.g. "code 101 was decoded N times this week") to prioritize content updates. We do not collect names, taxpayer IDs, business names, or addresses.

We use cookies for: (1) anonymous analytics (e.g. Google Analytics with IP anonymization) to count page visits, (2) Google Consent Mode v2 — analytics_storage is granted by default, ad_storage is opt-in only, (3) affiliate referral attribution — when you click an outbound affiliate link, the affiliate's own first-party cookie may be set on their domain.

We do not sell or share data with third parties except as required by law or as necessary to operate the site (e.g. hosting, analytics aggregators).
